Width

Curtain length

Floating curtains hang just above the floor.

Floor length curtains fall to the floor.

Puddle curtains are a few centimetres longer than the floor.

Because linen is a natural fabric, the fabric will sometimes be slightly higher or lower than expected. We generally recommend the floor length for our soap-washed curtains. In our experience, these curtains tend to stretch about 1 cm, so we’ll make the curtains 1 cm shorter than measured.

Our stonewash curtains are particularly suitable for the puddle length. The stonewash treatment makes the fabric extra nonchalant with tiny indentations that gives the fabric even more life. This is why we don’t recommend floor length for these curtains.

Lining

You can choose lining to blackout your curtains. Our cotton lining provides …% blackout and you can choose our blackout lining if you desire 100% blackout. Our Havana, Munich, or Muscat (flax)/Sukha are tightly woven and provide 80% blackout without lining.

Rails / Single pleat

This is a single pleated curtain that is placed on a rails system. Curtain rails are usually attached to the ceiling and have small rings to which you can attach curtain hooks. A single pleat is ideal for our linen fabrics, because we feel they don’t need more pleats for a beautiful drape. The curtains hang in front of the rail, making the rail almost invisible which allows the curtains to take centre stage.

Rod / Eyelet / Grommet

This is a curtain hung on a rod combined with grommets with a diameter of 40mm. A curtain rod is a round rod that is mounted on the wall about 15 cm above the window. The curtains are attached to the rod with grommets. This option provides a robust look and a nice balanced wave.

Roman blinds

Roman blinds are a type of roller blinds with fabric that folds into horizontal pleats when you draw the curtain. Roman blinds take up less space than normal curtains and are ideal for any smaller room.
